Foveo's SimplicityCam™ kit comes with two Rode Wireless GO II or 3) wireless microphone transmitters (TX) and one wireless receiver (RX).
Good to Know
1. The battery level of each TX unit can be seen on the display screen of the RX unit.
2. When a TX is fully charged, it appears as full green battery icon on the RX display screen.
3. When battery level is critically low, the TX's battery icon will turn red on the RX display.
4. TXs have a battery health indicator (blue LED light) on their top edge. A solid blue battery light indicates the battery is fully charged. The blue light will flash when the battery is low, and flash faster before the battery is fully depleted.
5. When charging, the battery light on each TX will flash and the RX screen will display a lightning bolt.
How long does it take to charge my wireless mics?
A full charge is achieved in 1-3 hours. Fully charged, the TXs and RX units have a battery life of 6.5 hours and can hold that charge for three to four weeks and longer.
Can I use the mics while they are being charged?
Yes, you can still use your Wireless GO TXs or RX while they are charging. For example, they can be attached to the back-up battery pack in your kit while being used.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT OVERCHARGE YOUR WIRELESS MIC KIT
To maintain the battery life of each wireless microphone component, use the supplied charging block and cables. DO NOT leave your microphone components plugged in continuously.
Continuously charging the TXs and RX will shorten their battery life, eventually to less than 30 minutes (even when they appear to be fully charged). This will result in a sudden and unexpected loss of audio while streaming.
Symptoms of Battery Damage
A key symptom of continuously overcharged mic units is audio inconsistency. The quality of the transmitted audio will fade in and out, with annoying static, for a few minutes before the audio fails completely.
Battery expansion is another clear symptom of overcharging, demonstrated by a unit's faceplate separating from its housing over time (see image below).

What do I do if my mic kit is damaged?
You will need to replace your mic kit. Please contact Foveo (suuport@foveo.org) for information about where you can buy a replacement mic kit.
