Meet the Evolution of Funeral Streaming
Streaming just got easier for everyone! Funeral professionals nationwide are using DirectorView™ on their Android and iOS devices to live stream and record funeral ceremonies wherever they are. Our mobile app can turn your device into a streaming camera or let you monitor and control live broadcasts remotely from your own phone!
New Features (you've been asking for)
Sign in as a Camera user, select the Stream you want to broadcast and tap "Connect Camera." You'll find a new "Go Live" button in the bottom corner of the display. Use it to start and end live broadcasts directly from your mobile camera with just one tap. You don't need help from a partner or any other device to start or end the broadcast.
It's gone! You won't need to activate the Music Note button any more to get crystal-clear audio every time. It's definitely one less thing to think about.
Know right away whether you should live stream or record offline (make a local recording). Tap the green "Check Speed" button in Settings to discover whether your network connection is fast enough for worry-free streaming. Of course, if your internet connection is slower than expected, you can always Record Offline with DirectorView™.
Even a strong internet connection can falter sometimes. If that happens, DirectorView™ automatically attempts to restore your camera's connection. If it can't reconnect within 20 seconds, it will display an on-screen message to prompt you to immediately switch over to Offline Recording.
IMPORTANT - Please follow these instructions carefully
Step 1: Uninstall the Previous Version
The new version of DirectorView™ is not an update to a previous version. You must first uninstall the existing DirectorView™ app from your mobile device. Attempting to update your existing app with the new version will cause the app to fail.
To delete your existing DirectorView™ app, hold your finger on the app icon until a menu pops up. You will be presented with the option to "Uninstall" (or lead you to "App Info" where you can uninstall the app).

Note: We also recommend deleting any previously downloaded application files, so you don't accidentally re-install an older version of DirectorView™ (ex. dv29.apk).
Step 2: Download the App
Download DirectorView™ for your Android or iOS device from:

Step 3: Install DirectorView™
Note: If your device does not prompt you to install DirectorView™, you may need to search your downloads for the file. Open the Files app (or MyFiles) and search for it in "Recent Files" or in "Installation Files (.APK)." Tap on the file to launch installation.
Step 4: Sign In
To use your device as a streaming camera, sign in using your camera's username and password. Because this is the first time signing in to the new app, you will need your username and password (your saved usernames and passwords will not transfer over to the new app).
Note:
To find your camera's username and password, sign in to foveo.app with a browser. If you have permission to view or modify Staff, navigate to Account > Users > "funeral-home-cam name" (in the left menu) to find the username and password you need. If you cannot access this information, please contact your funeral home manager or send an email to support@foveo.org to request your camera's username and password.
