If you have an internet-connected camera installed in your chapel, you likely won't need new equipment to live stream with Foveo. You can continue using your chapel camera to live stream and record funerals.
Step-By-Step Guide to Starting a Live Stream from your Chapel camera
Power up your chapel camera and start it streaming (the broadcast will not go live for guests). If you haven't already configured your camera's RTMP settings, please read this article.
Using a Chrome browser, sign in to foveo.app (using your email address and password).
Open the Director Panel for the desired Stream (left menu: Streams > List > Director (at right end of row)).
In the Director Panel, you will see the live video feed under the heading IP Cameras
Before starting the broadcast, check the camera view and perform audio checks Note: It is possible to have more than one IP Camera streaming simultaneously. All live cameras will be visible to you. Be sure to check and control only the appropriate camera(s).
Start the broadcast for guests by clicking on GO LIVE (under the IP Camera view) and then choose "Immediately".
Note: Even if an opening video has been uploaded to the Videos Panel (left menu: Streams > Videos), choose to Go Live “Immediately” and then click on the Pause button under the Broadcast player and select "Play [video file name].” You will need to choose to Resume the broadcast once the video has played to its end, to return to streaming the camera's live video feed).
When you are ready to end the broadcast for online guests, click on End Broadcast button (under the Broadcast viewer on the right side). Notes: When you click Pause Broadcast and choose to play an uploaded video, that video will play on a loop until the broadcast is resumed from the Director Panel by clicking on Resume Broadcast.
When you click End Broadcast and choose to play an uploaded video at the end of a broadcast, the live stream broadcast will end after the selected video has played to its end.
