You can change locations and cameras without forcing guests to get a new link. Here are three common switching scenarios and how to make them work:
For all three scenarios, start by doing the following:
1. Sign in to foveo.app with your own username and password. Go to the Streams panel.
2. Sign in to each individual Mobile Device with a unique Camera User ID.
3. Start your camera(s) streaming to Foveo.
4. In the Streams panel, find the desired stream in the list and click on the Director button to view the camera feeds.
5. In the Director Panel, when you are ready to present your live stream to guests from the first camera, click on the Go Live button beneath the camera feed you want to present.
Important Note:
The IP Camera feed is not shown in real time. It is subject to a delay of approximately 20 seconds. Please account for this when switching camera feeds in Scenario 3.
6. To switch cameras and broadcast the feed from another camera, click on the Go Live button beneath the video feed from the desired camera.
Better Live Streaming Tip 1:
If a break in the live stream is required when moving from one location to another, we recommend that you PAUSE [the] BROADCAST and then RESUME [the] BROADCAST once you are ready and your camera is again streaming from the new location.
Better Live Streaming Tip 2:
You can add a video file (ex. the family's photo tribute video) to the Broadcast Files (under Streams in the left menu) and then choose to play that video during the transition period when you click on PAUSE BROADCAST (the video will automatically play and loop until you resume the broadcast for guests in the new location). Note: After you pause the broadcast, it's okay to close the app fully and even turn off your camera device..
