Foveo supports professional cameras, video switchers, software encoders, and hardware encoders that can send a stream using RTMP.
Use the guides below to configure your encoder for a reliable connection to Foveo. Each guide includes recommended video and audio settings, setup instructions, a pre-event checklist, and troubleshooting guidance.
RTMP Server URL and Streams Keys
Your Foveo RTMP server URL and camera Stream Key are connection credentials that are unique to each funeral home or videographer camera (excluding mobile device cameras). Enter them in the livestream destination settings of your encoder or streaming program exactly as provided. Do not share them publicly.

General Recommendations Before Each Livestream
Start the encoder at least 20 minutes before the scheduled broadcast. Confirm in Foveo.app that the camera is connected and streaming to Foveo, then run a camera audio and video quality check. Once you have confirmed a stable signal and connection, you may start your public broadcast.
