After "Offline Recording" part (or all) of a funeral ceremony with the DirectorView™ mobile app, it's easy to upload the recording directly to the Broadcast page.
- Ensure your camera device is connected to a reliable internet connection.
- Sign in to DirectorView™ with your camera's username and password.
- Tap on Recordings at bottom center of the main screen (video camera icon).
- Find the recording in the list and tap on the gold arrow (to right of Stream name).
- Give the recording file a name, then tap the green Upload button. The recording will begin uploading to the Memorial page (and show its progress). Once uploaded, the Upload button will disappear.
Important Notes:
1. If the Upload fails to complete successfully, please contact our support team (support@foveo.org or 1-587-858-4949).
It may be that your Internet connection and/or the large file size is preventing your device from uploading the recording. In such a case, we may recommend that you Download the file (using the grey Download button, next to the Upload button). This will download your recording safely to your mobile camera's internal memory to the folder you specified. It will now need to be transferred to a PC and then uploaded to Foveo.
2. If you streamed a portion of the ceremony before choosing to "record offline," you may need to sign in to Foveo.app to designate the newly uploaded recording as the version to be published to the broadcast page.
A. To do that, sign in to Foveo.app as your funeral home administrator, navigate to Steams > List > [Stream Name] and then click on the RECORDING button on the right side.
B. Click on EDIT under the video recording you want to show as the final recording and toggle on the "Show as Final Recording" button to ensure it appears as the final recording. Then click Save.
C. If the recording you are looking for isn't there, you may need to click the +Create button on that page to upload the file you want to show as the final recording.
