Here are Six reasons why Guest Registration is important.
1. Client dignity and privacy can be protected
Once you have scheduled the live stream broadcast, the Next of Kin (Family Account holder) will automatically receive an email with a personalized guest registration link which they may choose to share with family and friends and/or ask you to post it on the obituary page to invite family and friends to attend online.
2. Registered guests get access to personalized features
After registering, online guests automatically receive:
a. A secure link to join the live broadcast (respecting and protecting family privacy)
b. Access to free, live guest support (in case of difficulty connecting)
c. An invitation to sign the family's guest book (with a link to the obituary page)
d. Advice on how to attend and participate fully in the online experience (video guide)
e. The ability to upload photos and videos and share memories (if allowed by the family)
f. Event reminders, one day and one hour before the funeral ceremony (so they won't forget)
g. A thank-you message with a link to view the recording (if late/unable to attend the broadcast)
3. Families can know who who attended online
Families can know who attended via live stream and can:
a. Access their email addresses (should they wish to personally express their thanks)
3. Manage privacy and access to the live stream, recording, and guest features
4. Activate the special guest features, including the Memories Gallery and Private Messaging

If a technical issue arises, our support team can notify guests directly when:
a. Circumstances have delayed the timely start of a funeral ceremony

In connection with the broadcast, Foveo automatically sends four custom messages to registered guests from your funeral home:
a. Confirmation of Registration, with a link to join the broadcast
b. Reminder Message 24 hours before the broadcast, with a link to join the broadcast
c. Reminder Message 1 hour before the broadcast, with a link to join the broadcast
d. A Thank-You Message (60 minutes after the broadcast), with a link to view the recording
6. Your business gets access to first-person data (i.e., names & email addresses)

It is possible to provide guest access to a live stream broadcast without requiring guests to register. You may simply share the Broadcast Page Link to provide direct access or use the Embed Link to add the live broadcast and recording directly to an Obituary Page. These links may be found in the Details panel of each live stream shown in Streams > List in Foveo.app.
