Latest Version of DirectorView™ for:
- Android devices is Foveo 1.0.0, Version number 29
- iOS devices is Foveo 1.0.40, Version number 40
If you already have DirectorView™ installed, you can open the Settings tab (bottom right) and scroll to the bottom to find out which version you are running.
Installing DirectorView™ for the First Time
1. Using the internet-connected mobile device that you plan to use as your streaming camera,
scan the appropriate QR Code (below) to download and install the DirectorView™ mobile app.
2. Once installed, launch DirectorView™ and, when prompted, permit it to record using the device’s camera and microphone (“While using the app”). The app will then open to its main screen.
3. Tap on Settings (bottom right), and then tap the Sign Out button. Next, close all open apps.
4. Relaunch DirectorView™ and sign in using the camera’s username and password. This information
can be found in the left menu of Foveo.App (under Settings > Staff) by clicking on the “FHCam” username.
Notes:
1. DirectorView™ cannot be used to schedule or update live stream bookings. Sign in to www.Foveo.App on any browser to book and manage your live streams.
2. You can download DirectorView™ to your own smartphone if you’d like to monitor and control live stream broadcasts remotely. They can also be controlled from Foveo.App using a web browser.

Updating the DirectorView™ App
Android Devices
A. Download
1. Use the internet-connected mobile device you use as your streaming to scan the QR Code above
OR
2. Navigate to foveo.org/dv29.apk
3. If you get a message that says, "File can't be downloaded securely," tap on Keep
4. Once the file has downloaded, tap on Open (at top), then tap Install (at bottom)
B. Installation
1. Open the .APK file you downloaded, then tap Install. Once installed, tap on Open.
2. Grant the necessary permissions when prompted: to record video "While using the app" AND to record audio "While using the app."
3. The app will then open to a white screen (it may say "Failed to load items").
4. Tap on Settings in bottom right, then tap on the navy blue Sign out button.
5. Tap on three white lines (bottom left corner), then tap on Close all
6. Relaunch the DirectorView™ mobile app and sign in with your camera's username and password
iOS (Apple) Devices
A. Download
1. Use the internet-connected mobile device you use as your streaming to scan the QR Code above
OR
2. Go to the Apple App Store and search for DirectorView (or use this link: https://apps.apple.com/ca/app/directorview/id1628678897)
B. Installation
1. Follow the prompts on your device to download and install the update.
2. After installing the update, open the app and grant any permissions requested.
3. Sign in to the app once, then tap on Settings in bottom right.
4. Tap on the navy blue Sign out button, then close all open apps on the device.
5. Relaunch the DirectorView™app and Sign in.
