A. Getting Started
To live stream, you will need the following:
- Foveo.App account (username and password)

Streaming Camera with microphone/audio source
- Mobile device (with DirectorView™ app installed), or
- Fixed camera/PTZ chapel camera (with Foveo IP Camera address and key set)
- Videographer or Church system (RTMP)
- Internet Connection (5G Wireless, Wi-Fi6, Ethernet; min. 8 Mbps upload speed recommended)
B. Creating a Live Stream
- Sign in to Foveo.App (opens on Streams > List page)
- Click on +Create (top left)
- Create Family Account for the Next of Kin (name, email, phone number)
- Schedule Live Stream (enter name, date, time, director, notes)
- Personalize broadcast (add photo, date of death, obituary URL, etc.)
- Review Family Privacy settings (default for guest downloads set to OFF)
- Save (sends guest registration link to funeral director and NoK with Family Account details)
C. How to Stream a Funeral
- Sign in to Foveo.App using a Chrome browser (opens to Streams > List view).
- Find the desired Stream in List view and click on DIRECTOR button (right side).
- Set up and turn on your Streaming Camera and microphones (see SimplicityCam™ instructions).
- Sign-in to DirectorView™ app on your mobile camera device (using Camera’s username).
- Tap on the desired Stream in Calendar and then tap on Connect Camera.
- Tap the Music Note button OFF and then ON again (bottom right corner) once the camera view appears on screen. If buttons appear at top, your mobile camera is upside down.
- Return to DIRECTOR panel in Foveo.App, and refresh your browser to load the Live Camera feed.
- Check/test your audio by unmuting the Live Camera feed (button in Live Cam viewer).

To begin a broadcast, click the Go Live button under the Live Camera view, and then click Immediately. A new Broadcast Monitor will appear (on the right), with Pause Broadcast and End Broadcast buttons. It has a 20-second delay and no audio; it shows the guest view.
Notes:- Instead of choosing Immediately, you can play a video before going live. Playing videos during the broadcast is ONLY available when using the DIRECTOR panel controls in Foveo.App.
- The DirectorView™ mobile app allows you to Start, Pause, and Stop broadcasts from your phone or tablet (sign in with your own username and password). It does not allow you to play pre-loaded videos during the broadcast.
- You DO NOT have to leave your browser open or keep the DirectorView™ app running during a live stream. You may close your browser or DirectorView™ app and return later without disrupting the live stream broadcast.
- If your Live Camera feed or Broadcast Monitor goes black or freezes in Foveo.App, simply refresh your browser to restore your views and broadcast controls.
D. Concluding the Broadcast
- Sign-in again to Foveo.App, find desired Stream, and access DIRECTOR panel (right side).
- When the ceremony is over, click on End Broadcast (under Broadcast Monitor), then click Immediately. This will end the live stream broadcast for guests immediately.
Note:- If you choose to play a video at the conclusion of the live broadcast (instead of ending it immediately), after clicking End Broadcast, click Play [video name] from the dropdown menu. The broadcast will now automatically end at the conclusion of the video you selected. You may close your browser and shut down your camera without disrupting the live stream.
E. Broadcast Recordings
- Access to the live stream recording will never expire.
- The following users may view the broadcast recording:
- Family Account Admin (when signed in to Foveo.App)
- Registered Guests (Family Privacy default setting allows guests to view recording)
- Funeral Director (when signed in as Funeral Home Admin)
- The following users may download the broadcast recording:
- Family Account Admin (when signed in to Foveo.App)
- Registered Guests (when Family Privacy set to allow guests to download recording)
- Funeral Director (when signed in as Funeral Home Admin)
- It is possible to upload an edited version of the recording later.
