Complete Steps 1 to 4 before mounting the Camera to your tripod.
Steps 5 and 6 will help you deliver a more professional broadcast.
Steps 7 and 8 explain how to take a broadcast live for online guests.
1. Sign in to DirectorView™ on your SimplicityCam™ (or other mobile camera device).
Use your camera's User ID and Password to sign in (the app stores usernames and passwords for simple access every time).
Important Tips:
1. If you have trouble signing in, ensure your camera is connected to the Internet.
2. If you get a "Failed to Load" message, log out fully before relaunching the app on your camera.
2. Select the desired Stream in the Calendar of upcoming live streams.
Be sure to select the same stream selected in DirectorView™ for Directors on another device or in the Foveo web app on a computer.
3. Tap on "Live Stream / Connect Camera" (the Green Button) at the bottom
This will connect your streaming camera to the Foveo platform. It's best to use a strong 5G mobile connection or fast, reliable WiFi. If you can't get either, then you may want to "Offline Record" the ceremony.
4. Ensure all buttons are set to ON. Always toggle 'Music Note' OFF, then ON again.
Four on-screen buttons will appear in the bottom right corner of your screen (L to R): Camera Orientation (flip), Camera (on/off), Audio (on/off), and Music Note (on/off). The last three buttons should be set to ON. The Music Note Button should always be toggled OFF and then ON again to ensure perfectly clear sound.
Important Tips:
1. If the buttons on the camera screen appear in the top left, your camera is upside down.
2. If the Music Note Button is already in OFF position, toggle it ON, then OFF, and then ON again

5. Ensure your Video Framing is straight and level
If you have a SimplicityCam™, adjust the level by shifting/twisting the corner of your camera on its magnetic mount (up/down). Your tripod also offers options for adjusting the tilt or level.
Here are some pro video framing tips to help you.
6. Position your wireless Microphone transmitters
If you have two microphone transmitters, attach the first to the main podium microphone and place the second approximately 36" (or as close to 36" as possible) from a loudspeaker in the room. Point the silver microphone foil at the top of the transmitter towards the loudspeaker or other audio source.
Important Tips:
1. In churches, consider clipping one of your wireless mics to the pastor/celebrant and positioning the other one about 36" from a loudspeaker in the room. More tips for live streaming from churches here.
2. If you have just one microphone transmitter, place it near a loudspeaker in the room to capture and stream all amplified sound.
3. If streaming outdoors, we recommend attaching a fuzzy wind muff to each of the mic transmitters to avoid getting only scratching noises from the blowing wind.
